You’re Already Amazing + Giveaway

I’m not a huge non-fiction reader but Holley Gerth caught my eye a few years ago when You’re Already Amazing was released. I devoured that little book as if it were fiction. I found her approach to be refreshing and engaging and easy to read. She tackles a multitude of issues with compassion and humour so I was excited to hear that the accompanying Life Growth Guide has just released.

Holley Gerth is a gifted encourager and I have been so blessed by her inspired words at some of the most difficult times in my life.

This workbook is an exciting extension to the original book, filled with thought provoking questions and life altering challenges. It felt like I was chatting with a really good friend. Exchanging ideas, problems, testimonies.

Exploring who God is and what He wants me to become…and more importantly, how much He loves me just the way I am. Right now. Today. Without apology.

Holley’s vibrant enthusiasm is evident in the videos she has created to accompany each session in the book. Six in all – seven if you count the intro. You can find them on her amazing website. Here’s a link. Go take a peek and you’ll get a glimpse at this woman’s passion for the Lord and the women she ministers to.

Here’s the book blurb and info on this giveaway opportunity:

  1. Like you, I’m not a big non-fiction reader. I tend to start a lot of them because of recommendations, but rarely do I finish them. But as a fellow fiction lover, if you recommend this one, I know it’s got to be good. And the topic is so very relevant to today’s women. Thanks, Kav!

    1. Yes, very relevant. The world has our self-images so skewed and this author has a way of cutting through all that and showing you how to celebrate who you are. With biblical context as well. Would make a great group study as well.

    1. You’re welcome, Dawn. You can get a feel for the book by viewing one of the videos. She definitely connected with me.

  2. Kav, I’m like you – I tend to steer clear of nonfiction unless it’s funny, or extremely relevant in my life at the time. I read “The Best Yes,” by Lysa TerKeurst and loved it – and this sounds great and like something I would love! Thanks for sharing!

    1. Funny how the lot of us aren’t really non-fiction people — I don’t know many who are — and yet there’s way more non-fiction being published than fiction…at least it seems that way. I’ll have to check out The Best Yes.

  3. I’ll join the crowd and admit that I read very little non-fiction too! But thanks for the recommendation, Kav! I’ll have to check this out based on your blog!

  4. I have some of Holly’s other books in this series. She is an encourager. Thanks.

    1. Yes — she definitely has a gift for encouraging. And inviting peace. I need to keep some of these great quotes front and centre in my brain through the course of a day.

    1. Definitely. Uplifting and encourage which we all need more of, right? Have a great day, Marianne.
