The Bishop’s Wife

The Bishop’s Wife is my favorite Christmas movie. I like all of the actor’s in the movie, Cary Grant, David Niven and Loretta Young.

Although I enjoyed the remake of this movie, The Preacher’s Wife, I believe the original version far outshines the remake.

  1. I haven’t seen that one in ages. And I often find that original versions of movies are way better then their modern counterparts. Sometimes Hollywood should leave well enough alone. Merry Christmas, Rose.

    1. I agree, Kav. I think it’s because they think they have to change the original ‘message’ in the movie to fit modern times which isn’t always true.

      Merry Christmas!

    1. Brenda,

I feel the same way about Cary Grant. I like all of his movies, but especially enjoy the comedies.
