This book is aimed at pre-teens and has quite a bit of humor in it. It is a historical book set in a small southern town in the 1950’s. SO…baby boomers can read this book and related to many of the scenarios that the main character faces. Plus it’s a great reminder that the spirit of Christmas is needed all year even from a self-proclaimed non-church goer.
I purchased this book when it released and usually read it every year. Spoiler alert, you will laugh out loud and then turn around and cry. Richard Peck is a very skillful writer!
What is the Christmas book that you like to read over and over?
